Wakamow Valley Authority advises that members of the public keep off the Moose Jaw River at the present time.  In addition to the recent mild temperatures, Wakamow Valley Authority has been made aware that the water level approximately 8 miles south of Moose Jaw has risen by approximately 3ft.  As a result we are expecting to see a rise of water flows in the Moose Jaw River over the next few days which may cause the ice to become unstable.

Please keep pets leashed in Wakamow Valley and around the river and other water areas and do not follow your animal onto the ice surface.

If you see anyone, especially children, playing on the ice or near dangerous water, call the Moose Jaw City Police.  306-694-7600. In case of emergency, call 9-1-1
