Farmer’s Markets 

When: Every Saturday starting May 27, 2023 to September 9, 2023 
Where: Kiwanis Pavilion and Oval 
Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm 

We are excited to bring back our annual farmer’s market for the third year.

 

June is Recreation and Park Month 

Event: Social Media Contest 

When: June 1 – 30 
Where: Facebook and Instagram  
Time: All month 

 Wakamow Valley is proud of our park – and you should be too! We are excited to host our June is Recreation and Parks Month photo contest! The rules are as followed: 

 

  1. The photo must be of Wakamow Valley – scenery, animals, places in the Valley are all accepted! 
  2. By participating in the contest, you allow Wakamow Valley Authority to use your photos from posters/social media
  3. Please use the hashtag #ExploreWakamow if creating a new post (so we can find all the entries and keep track of everyone!)
  4. Unlimited entries
  5. 12 winners will be chosen through a random generator; each winner will receive a calendar, and have their photo as our cover page for their month! 

 

The contest will run from June 1, 2023 at 9:00:00 am to June 30, 2023 at 11:59:59. Winners will be drawn on the following business day and announced online – winners will also be messaged as well!

Event: Trans Canada Trail Clean Up Day 

When: June 3 
Where: Wakamow Valley  
Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm 

Wakamow Valley is excited to announce our Trails Clean Up Day! To register for the event, please e-mail wakamow.gm@sasktel.net. 

 

Event: Dance Fit with The Strong Studio 

When: June 15 
Where: Kinsmen-Wellesley Pavilion   
Time: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm 

To help us promote being outside, The Strong Studio is coming out to Wakamow to dance! Bring yourself and your water bottle, and dance your evening away. 

 

Event: Kid’s Day 

When: June 17 
Where: Kiwanis Oval and Pavilion  
Time: 10:00 to 1:00 pm

Wakamow Valley is hosting our annual Kid’s Day in conjunction with our weekly Farmer’s Market; the schedule for the day is as follows: 

9:00 am 
Farmer’s Market Starts 
Bounce-a-lot structure becomes available  
Wakamow Themed Trolley Tours Start  

10:00 am 
Saskatchewan Reptile Show Start 
Include a 30 minute show, 30 minutes of hands on with the animals, and 30 minutes of baby dinosaur animatronic interaction!
