Kiwanis River Park Pavilion features 8 large picnic tables, a fireplace and a commercial size propane barbeque. Groups who book the Kiwanis River Park Pavilion have first right of use of the fire circle and skating oval area. Washrooms are located within the attached complex that houses the Lodge, as well as canoe rentals, canoe and kayak community club in summer and skating change rooms and speed skating community club in winter.
Effective April 1, 2012 the new rental rates are as follows:
- Daily 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (or part thereof) $95.00
- Daily 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (or part thereof) $95.00
- All day (8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.) $150.00
- Additional $25.00 for use of BBQ (Propane provided by Wakamow)
- Firewood $10.00 per box
- A deposit will be required upon booking. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable, but transferable for up to a year in case of cancellation.
- $10.00 per hour during the off season November 1 through to April 30 (Minimum of 3 hour rental)
**Please Note: Surcharges in all locations will be $200.00 for a wedding or reunion and $250.00 for public events without exception.**
The Kiwanis River Park Lodge is approximately 81 square meter heated/air conditioned room, located upstairs from the pavilion and features seating for approximately 35 - 40 people with a beautiful view of surrounding park. The lodge has a kitchen area equipped with a full size range/stove and refrigerator/freezer and tables and chairs. There is a handicap elevator available.
